Regulus Black headcanons, because there’s literally no canon information about his personality
He was always two steps ahead of everybody. He figured out that Lupin was a werewolf and that Sirius, James and Peter were animagus, AND that Sirius and Remus were dating

But he never told to anyone. Mostly because he still loved his big brother and didn’t want him to go to Azkaban, and he knew Sirius would kill him if he’d tell anyone about Remus being a werewolf
He was an introvert
He talked to his mother in French and father in English, so he talks to Sirius usually in French
He also swears in French
He didn’t really like quidditch that much, but still joined because he wanted to see Sirius more, and he knew that Sirius was also in the Griffindor quidditch team
But somehow he turned out be quite good at it
He was paler and had shorter hair, but otherwise he looked exactly like Sirius
He had a tiny little crush on James Potter, but never really realised that.
He just “Really wanted to be his best friend!😩”
He was also gay, but didn’t realise that either. He just never had crushes on any girls and thought it was normal
He was really good at school without trying
A little piece of shit sometimes
He was really lonely, and Barty Crouch jr was basically his only friend
That’s why he became friends with Kreacher
He was so jealous to Sirius. About everything. Sirius had great friends, he was popular, confident and successful and basically everything that Regulus wanted to be
That was the reason why he joined the death eaters.

After getting the dark mark he started regretting it a lot
He was a cat person, and he had a black cat named Nightmare. And he didn’t tell anyone but he absolutely loved Nightmare, he would’ve died for him
And the night before Regulus sacrificed himself, he gave Nightmare to Sirius and Remus in a box that he put in front of their front door
Sirius and Remus didn’t know it was Regulus’ cat, so they were quite confused next morning when they found a black kitten on their door steps
But Sirius fell instantly in love with the little cat, and so they decided to keep him
